A Healthy Active Lifestyle Starts in the Kitchen!

I’m an Internet Marketing and Tech guy by profession, however I’m heavily into health and fitness personally. I wanted to take some time today to share my weekend grocery shopping list, which includes all natural earth grown organic produce and meats directly from the Farmers at St Lawrence Market in Toronto. I do not buy my groceries at the average grocery store simply due to the vast amount (90%+) of Genetically Modified (GMO) and Pesticide filled foods.

I eat based on what I plan on doing for the day (exercise/workout wise), and ensure that I’m getting the best possible quality of foods. I do not drink alcohol, I do not eat fast food or any sort of garbage processed sugars/foods such as Ice Cream and Chocolate bars. A lot of the principals I follow can be found on Mike Dolce‘s The Dolce Diet.

I had made this life change several months back when I decided to really focus on my Mental and Physical health. As a result I’ve actually gone from 220lbs at well over 22% body fat, down to 180lbs at 7-8% body fat (yes, I’ve given myself a six pack). It wasn’t that hard to be honest, and only required making some dietary and fitness decisions and sticking to them 100% – no bullshit, no excuses, no “I’ll do it tomorrow” – I don’t work that way. When I whole heartedly decide to do something, it happens…. one way or another, it happens…
